About The Role
This role is responsible to assist with the full payroll function servicing approx. 2700 employees and actively participate as a member of the OAC Finance and Payroll teams.
We're looking for a Payroll Administrator to assist with the following tasks:
- Manage employee records in Chris21 (new starters, salary changes, superannuation, allowances, deductions, and terminations).
- Process and follow up on fortnightly timesheets (Chris21, Ento, Humanforce).
- Help calculate and process termination payments.
- Review payroll audit reports and address any discrepancies.
- Support the preparation and reconciliation of payroll reports, including STP submissions and annual reports.
- Complete daily support tickets in Freshdesk.
- Participate in payroll-related tasks and updates.
- Assist with month-end accounting and production of monthly reports.
Skills & Requirements:
- Stay updated with industry trends through workshops and professional publications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good understanding of spreadsheets and reconciliation.
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in basic Excel functions and formulas.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with maturity.
- Quick learner of new systems and processes.
- High level of integrity and professionalism at all times.
- Maturity and confidence to deal with confidential and/or sensitive information.
- Always conduct themselves with a high level or integrity and professionalism.
Ideally, you will have:
- A minimum of 1 years (or equivalent) demonstrated related experience in a similar position.
- Experience with payroll systems (Chris21/Humanforce is advantageous)
- Experience with Time and Attendance systems is advantageous
- Experience in delivering impeccable customer/stakeholder service.
