We're looking for a warm, capable and collaborative Assistant Director to join our team at Only About Children Maroubra. This is a chance to support a campus where strong relationships, high-quality practice and a genuine sense of belonging shape the experience for children, families and educators every day.
About our Maroubra campus
There's a fresh, lively feel to working at Maroubra. Set on the corner of Storey Street and Anzac Parade, the newly rebuilt campus is close to Snape Park, Maroubra Junction, shops, transport and everyday community life. It feels practical, local and full of energy.
Inside, Maroubra feels bright, active and thoughtfully designed. Children enjoy outdoor spaces with sandpits, a climbing mound, tunnel, slide, bike path, cubby nooks, garden beds and balcony spaces. Community visits to the library, Pacific Square, the Post Office and nearby parks help children explore their world. Families often describe educators as caring, supportive and professional, with children settling beautifully and excited to attend.
You're The Difference at OAC
At Only About Children, everything starts with one simple truth: You're The Difference.
As an Assistant Director, the way you lead, listen and support others helps shape the culture of the whole campus. Your calm presence, practical support and care for people help educators feel confident, families feel heard and children feel safe.
With us, you'll see your impact in the way a campus runs, grows and feels each day.
About the role
As Assistant Director, you'll work closely with the Campus Director to support daily operations, child safety, team leadership, family experience and quality practice across the campus.
This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. You may be supporting room teams, welcoming families, assisting with rostering, guiding compliance processes, mentoring educators or stepping in as a visible leader to help the campus run smoothly.
