About this role

Early Childhood Teacher Geebung

We're looking for a thoughtful, passionate and child-centred Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Only About Children Geebung.

This is an opportunity to bring your teaching practice to a campus where children's curiosity is valued, relationships are central and school readiness is supported through meaningful, play-based learning.

You're The Difference at OAC

At Only About Children, everything starts with one simple truth: You're The Difference.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, your expertise shapes how children think, communicate, connect and prepare for their next step. The way you plan, teach, reflect and partner with families helps children feel capable, confident and excited to learn.

With us, you'll see your impact in children's school readiness, educator growth and the learning culture you help create.

About the role

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you'll lead high-level educational practice and learning within your room, planning and delivering curriculum, documenting children's progress, partnering with families and mentoring educators.

This is a classroom-anchored teaching role informed by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers, the EYLF, the National Quality Framework and OAC's Grow Curriculum.

What you'll do

Lead a high-quality early learning program that supports children's confidence, wellbeing and development.
Plan, document and evaluate learning using the assessment and planning cycle.
Use professional teacher judgement to design curriculum informed by child development, frameworks and evidence of learning.
Support school readiness through oral language, social-emotional skills, problem-solving and meaningful group learning.
Mentor educators in intentional teaching, documentation, reflective practice and inclusive learning.
Partner with families to support each child's learning, wellbeing, culture and individual needs.
Contribute to QIP, self-assessment, team meetings and campus-wide educational improvement.

What you'll bring

Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification from a recognised university or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
Teacher registration or accreditation, where required.
Minimum three years' demonstrated experience in an early childhood setting.
Strong working knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, child development, statutory regulations and inclusive practice.
Experience supporting, mentoring or training colleagues.
Strong communication, documentation, critical reflection and relationship-building skills.
Current Working with Children Check and relevant state-based child protection clearance.

What we offer

Above award pay and recognition, including worker retention payment, Thank You and Excellence Awards, loyalty milestones and our Refer a Friend Program.
Professional development leave to maintain ECT proficiency, supporting your teacher registration and ongoing practice.
Professional development from day one, including Grow Curriculum training, Nurture Inspire Program and expert-led Soundbite sessions.
Career pathways into Educational Leader, Assistant Director, Campus Director or Support Office roles, with career advice and development support.
Up to 50% childcare discount for eligible team members, plus paid parental leave and salary sacrifice options.
Wellbeing support, including two Wellbeing Days, additional leave purchase options and 24/7 TELUS Health EAP access.
Everyday savings through OAC Rewards, with discounts across groceries, retail and more.
A role where your teaching practice makes a visible difference in children's lives.

Child safety and inclusion

At Only About Children, child safety is at the centre of everything we do. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse and harm, and we are committed to creating safe, nurturing and inclusive environments where every child has a voice, feels safe, and is valued and respected.

Everyone who joins our team shares responsibility for upholding child safe practices, meeting regulatory requirements and supporting children's wellbeing. Successful candidates will be required to complete all relevant working with children, background and compliance checks.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds who share our commitment to child safety, inclusion and high-quality early learning.
