Assistant Director – OAC Brunswick West

As Assistant Director, you'll work closely with the Campus Director to drive excellence across our campus. You'll take the lead on your floor, supporting educators and ensuring we maintain the high standards of The OAC Way – our unique approach to education, care, and family partnership.

Key Responsibilities

For Children:

• Create a nurturing and engaging environment where children thrive
• Ensure every child experiences meaningful interactions and warm, responsive care
• Ensure child safety and welfare is at the forefront of everything you do

For Team Members:

• Mentor and support educators to reach their full potential
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, development, and performance excellence
• Support team onboarding and ensure a strong sense of belonging

For Families:

• Build strong, respectful relationships with families
• Ensure open, professional, and timely communication
• Help create a welcoming and inclusive community through events and shared experiences

For the Campus:

• Drive quality, compliance, and operational excellence
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inviting environment for children, staff, and families
• Support the Campus Director in daily operations

About You

You are a passionate Early Childhood leader with:

• A Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education
• At least 2–3 years of experience in early childhood leadership
• Strong knowledge of the NQF and Early Years Learning Framework
• A natural ability to lead, coach, and inspire teams
• A warm, collaborative, and proactive communication style
