Educator - Brighton East
Before I can write my name, I know who makes me feel safe.
I know the person who smiles when I come in.
The person who gets down low so I can see their face.
The person who helps when my tower falls down, my shoes are on the wrong feet, or my feelings feel too big.
I know who helps me feel safe enough to run, climb, paint, sing, ask questions, make friends and try again.
Some days I want to be a dinosaur.
Some days I need a kind word before I am ready to play.
At Only About Children Brighton East, that person could be you.
We're looking for a warm, professional and committed Educator to join our team.
About our Brighton East campus
At Brighton East, my day feels calm, spacious and thoughtfully made. I arrive on South Road, close to buses, Moorabbin Station and Bayside communities. The campus feels modern, practical and easy for families.
I learn in purpose-built indoor spaces where I can play, rest, create and build friendships, then move outside to explore bike tracks, a sandpit, climbing structures, mud kitchen, vegetable garden and worm farm. I can also see the kitchen where food is prepared, which makes me curious about what I eat. Inside and outside, I can ask questions, try new things and feel safe, nurtured and excited to learn.
You're The Difference
At OAC, they say You're The Difference.
I think that means you help my day feel safe, happy and full of things to discover. Because of you, I can be curious, brave, messy and proud when I try something new.
You may call it early learning. For me, it is my world getting bigger, one safe and happy moment at a time.
About the role
In this role, you help me and my friends feel safe enough to play, rest, wonder and grow.
You notice what makes my eyes light up, like bugs, blocks, books, water, music, painting or pretend play, and turn those sparks into learning.

You will need to complete all required working with children, background and compliance checks. OAC welcomes people from all backgrounds who share this commitment.
